Message from the Owner
Having worked in the motor trade, selling main franchise dealer cars as well as management for over 20 years we were on the customer end of Car Transport for many years, learning the processes, costs, obstacles and patterns & tendencies of transport providers. During this time we worked with all the major platforms in the car transport industry learning the industry as it grew and gaining invaluable knowledge into how the industry is run and currently operating.
With this in mind, we ventured into car transport, knowing the demand and costs involved we were prepared and ready to take on the challenge. After many months of securing jobs, countless collections and deliveries, driving thousands of miles up and down the UK and signing up to all the online car transport marketplaces and quoting platforms we could see the true picture from the Transport Provider's side.
Realising how competitive the market truly is and how much the platforms were inflating the quotes for the customers was a huge eye opener and we felt it only correct to provide a service that benefits both the customer and the transport provider.
With all our experience in mind.. MotorMoves was created to offer providers as much information as possible on jobs as well as images of every load to ensure they are providing accurate quotations and not underpricing jobs, that they are transporting goods within their legal requirements, are not at risk and not getting any surprises at collections - we speak here from experience!
Also to offer customers realistic, true pricing direct from transport providers and not inflate quotes that only end up costing the customer more.

Our Journey
MotorMoves was born from years of hands-on experience in the motor trade. Before launching this platform, we spent many years working directly within the automotive industry, gaining invaluable insights into how vehicles are bought, sold, and most importantly - transported across the UK and Europe.
After transitioning into vehicle transportation ourselves, we quickly discovered the realities of the industry. We transported cars for a living, experiencing first-hand the challenges that both vehicle owners and transport providers face every day. From coordinating pickups and deliveries to ensuring vehicles arrived safely at their destinations, we learned the ins and outs of what makes a transport service truly reliable.
But we also saw something else - the vast scope of the industry and just how busy it was. More importantly, we witnessed how much companies were charging customers for basic transport services. Prices varied wildly, transparency was often lacking, and customers frequently had no way of knowing whether they were getting a fair deal or being overcharged.
That's when we knew something had to change.
We decided to bring this service directly to the public - creating a marketplace where vehicle owners could connect with verified transport providers, compare competitive quotes, and pay realistic, transparent pricing. No hidden fees, no inflated rates, just honest pricing for quality service.
